Two more miscellaneous petitions have been filed in the Supreme Court after the federal government reviewed the Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa's decision to extend his tenure.

The federal government has sought the order of the Supreme Court and requested that the imports be suspended on November 28 order till the decision on the review petition.

In a written decision on November 28, the Supreme Court ordered Parliament to legislate on extension of the term of army chief within six months.
