Talking at Geo News' morning show 'Geo Pakistan', Minister of Mines and Information Sindh Nasir Hussain Shah has appealed to the people of the province that all people should pray in their homes.

He said that the scholars of all schools have also asked to pray in their homes. We have to make difficult decisions so that more people do not gather in one place.

Nasir Hussain Shah also said that NADRA Chairman has assured his cooperation in regards to the registration of the people.

It should be clear that today is Friday and it is the second Friday since the lockdown, Sindh government has ordered a complete lockdown between Sindh and Karachi, from 12 noon to 3:30 pm today.current world news

The Sindh government has also issued a notification regarding the complete lockdown from 12 noon to 3:30 pm, stating that Friday prayers during the lockdown will be restricted and more and more mosques will be closed. Five people will be able to pray Friday, the rest are advised to pray at home.

According to the notification, a 3-and-a-half-hour lockdown will close all markets, shops, stores, eateries across Sindh, including Karachi, and there will be a complete ban on all types of shopping and sales.

In the meantime traffic flow will also be closed and counter-insurgency action will be taken while cranial and medical stores will be open from 8am to 12pm and 3pm to 6.30pm.

Sindh Interior Department has decided to ban shopping malls, cinemas, wedding halls, banquet, auditoriums, farmhouses, coastal locations, electronics market and social gatherings till April 14.

Showrooms, entertainment venues including beauty parlors, intercity and inter-provincial public transport will remain suspended for the duration, while educational institutions will remain closed until May 31.
