The Prime Minister's Assistant Special Forces National Security Maid Yousuf announced the closure of borders in talks with Geo News.

Maid Yusuf said that it was decided on March 28 that the borders of the country would remain closed until April 11, today it has been decided that they will be closed for two more weeks after April 11.

He said that the decision had been made to grant an exception on April 6-9. In fact, the Afghan government has in the meantime requested to open the Chaman and Torkham border.

The Prime Minister's Assistant Special added that the request was made for Afghan citizens who had come to Pakistan for a temporary time and wanted to return, the process is underway which will end tomorrow.

He said that a special request is being made in respect of the food that goes to the Afghan government's special request, after which the food transit will go to Afghanistan.

Maid Yusuf also said that Afghanistan has found complete processing in relation to food transit so that it does not pose a threat to us on return.
