Dr Zafar Mirza said that while DRAP has allowed the manufacture of chloroquine raw materials locally, Drip has also approved clinical trials of Plasma Therapy for the treatment of Corona.

He said Drip has also allowed clinical trials of ventilators manufactured in Pakistan.

The Prime Minister's Assistant Special says that ventilators manufactured by Pakistan Engineering Council are being tested before use.

He added that Drip has allowed more than 50 companies to make hand sanitizers for 3 months.

Dr Zafar Mirza also stated that Drip issued a notification a few days ago to ensure the supply of hand sanitizer, licensed companies will manufacture standard hand sanitizer as per WHO guidelines.
