Judge of the Accountability Court Jawad Al Hasan heard the case.

Chaudhry Muhammad Nawaz presented by Advocate Accountability Court on behalf of Mir Shakeel ur Rehman.

Chaudhry Nawaz Advocate informed the court that Amjad Pervez Advocate is in the Lahore High Court on the request of Mir Shakeelur Rehman.

Chaudhry Nawaz Advocate also said that if NAB did not ask for the physical remand of Mir Shakeel-ur-Rehman, I would be present.

NAB Prosecutor Asim Mumtaz said that NAB has requested further physical remand.

Judge Jawad Al-Hassan replied that they should wait till the Lahore High Court bail decision today.

The Lahore Accountability Court adjourned the hearing till the proceedings of the Lahore High Court.

It may be recalled that today the Lahore High Court will hear the arrest of Mir Shakeel-ur-Rehman against the arrest of the NAB, against taking physical remand from the accountability court and release of Mir Shakeel-ur-Rehman on bail.

A two-member bench of the Lahore High Court is hearing the petitions of Mir Shakeel-ur-Rehman and his wife Shaheena Shakeel.

Prosecutors of NAB will present their stand against the two-member bench of the Lahore High Court.

On Thursday, Shakeel-ur-Rehman's lawyer, renowned lawyer Aitzaz Ahsan, completed his arguments.

The petition of Mir Shakeel-ur-Rehman and his wife Shaheena Shakeel states that the NAB exceeded the powers, arrested 34-year-old in a civil transaction.

The petition states that the case in which Mir Shakil ur Rehman was arrested does not fall under the jurisdiction of the NAB, NAB has violated its SOPs and the government's business policy, which the NAB accuses of Mr Shakeel al-Rahman. Are totally baseless.

The petition states that Mir Shakeel ur Rehman went to NAB's office with the evidence but was arrested only at the stage of confirming the complaint. Mir Shakeel ur Rehman was not given any opportunity to clean up.

The petition requested the court to declare the NAB action invalid and contrary to law, ordering immediate release of Shakeel-ur-Rehman from the illegal detention of NAB.

It may be recalled that the accountability court Lahore handed over Mir Shakeel-ur-Rehman to NAB on March 14 on 14-day physical remand.

The Accountability Court of Lahore had allowed Mir Shakeelur Rehman's elder brother Mir Javed ur Rehman to go to Karachi on a seven-day transit remand so he could attend his brother's funeral.

NAB authorities have arrested Mir Shakeel-ur-Rehman on charges of buying a 54-canal plot from a private man in Johar Town.
