It is important to note that a 6-member delegation, headed by Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the Islamic Cooperation Organization, Yusuf al-Dubey, arrived in Pakistan two days ago to visit Azad Kashmir and Line of Control.
Special Representative of the OIC Secretary General Yousuf Dubey held a press conference with Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi at the Foreign Office yesterday and said that they wanted to resolve the Kashmir issue through dialogue.
Issue Kashmir: Reluctant to convene an OIC meeting
He further said that there was concern over human rights issues in occupied Kashmir, in this regard a meeting of the OIC would be convened soon.
The purpose of the visit of the delegation of the Islamic Cooperation Organization is to prepare a comprehensive report in this regard for the Foreign Ministers of the OIC.
