Lahore High Court Rawalpindi Bench Justice Mirza Waqas Rauf heard the case related to the detention of Colonel Retired Aamir Rahim.

During the hearing, Justice Mirza Waqas Rauf remarked that the detention of Colonel Retired Rehman Rahim had no legal status.

The court declared Colonel Retired Rehman's detention illegal.

Additional Attorney General Elias Sajid Bhatti was also present in the court.

At the January 2 hearing of the case, the Ministry of Defense confessed to holding Colonel Prize, which the court had strongly expressed, and ordered the Additional Attorney General to appear in court.current world news

On January 3, the Lahore High Court Rawalpindi Bench fixed the date for today (January 9), approving the Colonel Retired Award Rahim case for regular hearing.

The court also issued notices to the Federal and Defense Ministry.

The court, in its remarks, said it was being asked under which law the award-winning Rahim Advocate was taken but no reply was being made.

At the hearing, Additional Attorney General Sajid Elias Bhatti, Director of the Jack Branch Legal Brigadier Fulk Naz and Home Ministry representative Shahzad Anjum appeared in the court and sought adjournment for legal assistance from the court.

Wasif Khan and Sheikh Ahsan-ud-din Advocates argued in the court on behalf of Colonel Aamir-Rahim Advocate that the custody of Ishrat-ul-Rahim was illegal.

It may be recalled that Colonel Retired Rehman Rahim was pursuing cases regarding the missing persons and the army, who were picked up from his residence in Rawalpindi on December 16.

His son-in-law, Hasanin Aamir, has also filed an FIR in the police station of the incident, while Mohammad Wasif Khan, Malik Waheed Akhtar, Rana Abdul Qayyum and Dr Shahzad Iqbal Sham Advocate have filed a petition for recovery of Colonel retired award. Has also approached
