Prominent social leader Jibran Nasir filed a petition in the Sindh High Court against the transfer of DIG Khadim Hussain Rind and SSP Dr Rizwan.
After hearing the petition, the Sindh High Court declared the conversion of the two officers illegal and ordered that the officers could not be exchanged without consultation with IG Sindh.current world news

The Sindh High Court in its ruling said that the conversion violated Article 17 of the Sindh Police Act,
The decision stated that Sindh government is bound to consult with IG Sindh for the transfer of officers.
It may be recalled that the Sindh High Court had earlier issued a stay order on the transfer of the two officers.
